Choose The Right Caravan Park
I’ve always been one for the road me, but the more digital everything gets, the more confined we are to our tiny spaces. Don’t get me wrong, I love the internet – I mean, here I am writing a blog! But I’ve always done things in extremes and have opposing enjoyments. For example, each year I take a caravan trip and insist on being undisturbed the whole time. No mobile, no nothing – even when we get to the caravan park where there are more facilities. Yet, the rest of the year, my mobile is literally my lifeline and I spend most of my week in front of a screen. And I actually enjoy that ying and yang. I guess because work is so computer focused, you get used to it. And as a kid, I loved technology and was a computer game hound – commodore 64 anyone?
Anyhow, carvanning is the ‘yang’ of my life and I don’t want to upset it. I guess because I have done it for so many years, it is just a solid part of my yearly routine – I know exactly what to do and where to go – it feels kind of natural to me. And getting to the caravan park always brings a sense of familiarity, as well that great holiday feeling. The caravan park we went to last year in Devon was just incredible. I hadn’t visited before but it has an incredible atmosphere. I can’t wait to go again!
