A honeymoon in Jamaica
After seven years together my fiancé and I are finally taking the plunge and getting married.! We have waited so long purely for financial reasons – it costs so much to get married these days! We spent so long arranging the wedding that we almost forgot about the honeymoon, and when we remembered it, we suddenly panicked about the cost of such a luxury trip away.
We both had our hearts set on a trip to Jamaica for our honeymoon. It is a fairly common destination for honeymoons but the reason for that is it is meant to be such a beautiful romantic place. Because our budget was mostly blown on the wedding, I had serious doubts about our ability to be able to afford our dream honeymoon, but I decided to check online to see if there was anything at all that came close to what we wanted for the money we could afford. I started to search for Jamaica deals in the hope that I would find something that could pass for a honeymoon. I was expecting to have to take a hit on the type of accommodation we could afford, but I was amazed to see some really beautiful places that weren’t that expensive! For the next two nights my fiancé and I pored over the various different offers, until we found something that we were both happy with. In the end we found a beautiful beach side apartment which looked like heaven on earth! We had found something. All we had to do now was get through the wedding unscathed!
