Not only to the islands have picturesque beaches, but also provide an assortment of activities including: water skiing, sailing, surfing, scuba diving, hiking, mountain biking and many more.
Tenerife, which is the largest and most visited island, is famous for the highest mountain in Spain: Mount Teide. Gran Canaria, which is the second most visited island, is known for its variety of landscapes. La Palma is another island famous for its utopian landscape; also known as the “green island,” it has been declared a Biosphere Reserve.
If you are curious about the culture and traditions of these islands, then La Gomera does the best job of displaying the customs of the natives. But, if you are curious to really explore the ocean, then El Hierro would be a better choice.
Because of natural swimming pools, it is ideal for scuba diving or snorkelling. If you desire to see something really “out of this world,” then the island to visit is Lanzarote.
Because of its volcanic origin, Lanzarote is covered with ashes and lava, causing most visitors to feel like they are on another planet. Whether sun- bathing or surfing, Canary Islands Holidays are full of activities leaving no tourist disappointed.
