A week in Tenerife with the girls

Most years I head off on holiday with my boyfriend, but after he went off skiing with his mates in the winter, I see no reason why I shouldn’t go off for a girls holiday in the summer! There are five of us going, and we want to get away from England during the World Cup! None of us are interested in the football, but of course, all of our boyfriends are! Much better to leave them to their stupid game while we sun ourselves on a beautiful beach on an island somewhere!
None of us really knew where to go, but I began to investigate possible locations. I wanted to find somewhere that was definitely going to be warm and sunny, and after coming across a weather in Tenerife website, I knew that it was the place to be! Their sunshine record is pretty much unparalleled, and we would be virtually guaranteed good weather. I had a quick look at a site called Tenerife Times which gave me a few pointers about where would be good to stay, and I started to see if I could find any cheap Tenerife holidays online, and I was amazed at the choice available in our price range! There was a lovely little apartment that slept six, just outside a place called Garachico which looked really nice. It was on the northern coast of the island which is where we wanted to be. The place sounded perfect and it knew for sure that it would beat sitting at home whilst my boyfriend screamed at the television for two weeks solid!
