Why take a trip to the theatre in London?

To most people the chance to visit London usually revolves around shopping in the centre of the city. This is of course a fine way to spend you time in the city if you love to shop, but I often think that you can shop in any part of the country – why not do something that can’t quite be replicated where you come from?

Whenever I visit London I like to visit the theatre. Of course my home town has a theatre too – but there is nothing quite like visiting the theatre in London, it is a different experience entirely. There is so much history associated with theatre in London and you can feel that whenever you enter any of the grand old buildings.

At the moment I am gearing myself up for the release of Wizard of Oz tickets. This show opens in March of next year and looks like it is going to be absolutely fabulous! I have heard some people saying that it could be even more successful than ‘Cats’ at the box office, which is why I am going to book my tickets as soon as I have the money.

To see a play of this calibre at any location is a wonderful opportunity, but to be able to watch this at London’s West End is really what it is all about. I would have no hesitation in recommending people make the journey from wherever they are in the country to make sure they don’t miss this great event.
